Workplace policy

Preventing third party harassment —
our public commitment

We are committed to a safe, respectful workplace. We will not tolerate our people being harassed or abused by anyone they encounter for work, including customers, clients, suppliers, contractors, or members of the public. We take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment and other unlawful harassment and will act where standards are breached, which may include refusing service, excluding individuals from our premises, and ending contracts or engagements.

We expect third parties to treat our colleagues with dignity. Our company policy  and supplier agreements make clear that harassment, abuse or discrimination will not be tolerated. Visible notices may be displayed at our sites and digital channels reminding visitors of these standards and the actions we may take if they are not met.

We recognise that our teams cannot “police” private conversations and that we have more limited control over non employees. We therefore focus on practical measures that are reasonable in our circumstances, proportionate to risk and respectful of lawful freedom of expression, while protecting our people from harassment and abuse.
